Jack Hicks, is a very talented and skilled wildlife photographer. For the past 3 years in June, he has challenged himself to photograph 30 different Cornish wildlife species in 30 days and he has been taking over the Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s Instagram and Twitter channels to share his stunning images with their followers. Jack will be giving a talk and presentation on his 30 Species in 30 Days; Jack’s Cornish Wildlife Challenge.

Jack Hicks says,
"This is my third year doing a 30 Days Wild challenge, in which I aim to photograph a different species for every day of June. 30 Days Wild has honestly become my favourite time of the year!

“I’m an avid wildlife photographer all year round, but in June I really step it up. The challenge of finding something new each day has taken me to parts of Cornwall I’ve never been before and probably little known and seldom visited. The past two 30 Days Wild Junes, I’ve seen things I’ve not otherwise seen in three years of wildlife photography; Roe deer fawns playing in a stream, kestrels feeding young a top of old mine buildings and peregrines hunting off of the coast.”

“There’s something very special about spending time outdoors and within nature, it just makes you feel good, and June is the perfect time of year to immerse yourself. On top of that, I can't think of many places better than Cornwall to get outdoors. Cornwall offers so many wild places and photography opportunities, whether its seals, dolphins, and peregrines on the coast or foxes, kestrels, and cuckoos on the heathland, there’s so much to be discovered and to be explored."
