What a gorgeous weather we had this weekend. And of course, the clocks move forward today.
As always, to begin my day on Sunday, I attend the Sunday Mass at the Roman Catholic Church, Our Lady Star of the Sea and Saint Anthony in St Mawes.
Went for a walk in St Mawes Harbour after the mass.
Afterwards, we went to Ruan Lanihorne to look for the Cattle Egret but unfortunately, they are not around but we saw loads of butterflies instead: 10++ Comma, 3x Small Tortoiseshell, 15++ Peacock, 1x Red Admiral and 1x Speckled Wood.
On the road to St Michael Penkivel, we saw 2x Peacock.
We went to Gannel Estuary to check for the Cattle Egret but they're no where in sight. We saw 1x Small Tortoiseshell and 1x Red Admiral in the carpark.
We went birdwatching in Holywell Bay. We have not seen the Cornish Choughs. As the weather is sooo nice, they must had wander somewhere as we had not seen them at all. We saw 1x Small Tortoiseshell though. We saw a few DOLPHINS too and Rob Nicholls had a video clip.
So tired and hungry after all those walking around. So I made a lush meal for me and Rob Nicholls - BBQ Pok Ribs served with my skinny fries, mushy peas, homemade coleslaw and steamed sweetcorn. Sooooo yummylicious!
What an excellent day!!!
