Location: Truro, Cornwall, UK

Launching of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence in Truro. Cornwall Council CEO, Kate Kennally gave a talk plus 2 others. Later on, we had a Walkabout around Truro with Safer Cornwall, First Light and Seeds. It's great to see local businesses supporting the campaign. Sooo delighted I came.

Had a great time at the 60th "Diamond" Anniversary and Annual Conference of Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The speakers were all brilliant and inspiring. The Red River Singers gave a excellent performance.

Well-done to Jane Davies, Karen Johns and all the Cornwall AONB team for the successful celebration of the 60th "Diamond" Anniversary and Annual Conference of Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

2019 is a very special year for the Cornwall AONB as we celebrate the "Diamond Anniversary" of the Cornwall AONB. Join our 60th anniversary celebrations at this year's Annual Conference - the Cornwall AONB was designated in 1959 under the National Parks and Access to the Countryside 1949.

* Gill Pipkin, Chairperson, Cornwall AONB Partnership.
* Philip Hygate, Chairman, National Association for AONBs.
* Will Coleman, Director, Golden Tree Productions – Cornwall AONB 60th anniversary celebrations with the Kerdroya Project: the humble Cornish Hedge (includes short video film).
* Mark Cocker an author of creative non-fiction. He is a naturalist and environmental tutor, who writes and broadcasts about nature and wildlife.
* Graham Harvey has written about food and farming for over 40 years and is passionate about what he calls “Real Food Farming”; Britain's farmland is a precious resource.
* The Red River Singers provided the pre-supper entertainment.
