The first event of Ladock Parish Wildlife Group has been a huge success. There was a great turn-out. Parishioners from Ladock, Grampound Road, Trenowth and others attended the event. Thank you to everyone who came this evening. It was lovely to see you. I'm organising a whole lot of amazing events for 2020. Hope you could all join us again on our next event. AIMS of LADOCK PARISH WILDLIFE GROUP: • To record wildlife species seen in our the parish. • Invite speakers to give talks and presentation to improve our knowledge on various area of interest. • Wildlife Walks and Trips to improve our knowledge of the flora and fauna in our parish. (Bird-watching, Butterfly-watching, Moth Trapping Evening, Bat Walk, Fungi Walk, Wildflower Walk and others). • Encourage people to connect with nature and wildlife because it benefit both the mental and physical well-being. • Create a community group to meet like-minded people with the same interest and passion for nature and wildlife. • To foster community spirit and encourage civic pride in our parish.
